Backgammon - Atari 2600 Game

The dice roll animation feels satisfyingly random, and the board layouts are clear and easy to read on my old TV. It’s a solid way to pass a few minutes without needing to set up a physical set.

The computer opponent actually makes smart moves, so it’s not just a boring dice-roller. I’ve been playing this on my old console for hours, and the simple graphics still hold up well for a quick match.

Rolling the dice feels just like the real board game, and the computer opponent keeps you on your toes as you move your pieces around. The simple controls make it easy to jump into a match without fumbling with the joystick.
