Demon's Crest - SNES Game

The sprite art and gothic atmosphere really pull you in, and the difficulty curve feels fair but keeps you on your toes. I've been stuck on a few bosses for a while, but it's always satisfying to finally beat them.

Finally a platformer that doesn't hold your hand. The bosses actually require pattern memorization to beat, and the dark gothic atmosphere is spot-on. I've been playing this every night since it arrived.

The sprite work and dark atmosphere really pull you into the demon world, and the stage design keeps you on your toes. I've spent hours just trying to figure out the best path through the hazard-filled levels.
