Nintendo 3DS Amiibo Reader

I was worried it wouldn't work with my original 3DS model, but it syncs up instantly and reads Amiibo figures without any lag. The build quality feels solid, too.

Wasn't sure this would work with my older handheld, but the reader picked up every Amiibo figure I tapped on it. Scanning is quick and it snaps right into the port without feeling loose.

Plugged this into my old 3DS and my Amiibo figures scanned instantly, no fiddling required. It sits snug in the cartridge slot and I've been using it to unlock extras in games I'd shelved for years. Genuinely didn't expect it to work this smoothly on a handheld this old.
