Quake 64 - N64 Game

The atmospheric lighting in the darker levels really pulls you into the fight, and the weapon arsenal feels punchy and responsive. It's a solid port that runs surprisingly well on the N64 hardware.

I was pleasantly surprised by how smooth the frame rate stays even during the most chaotic firefights against those demonic enemies—really helps with aiming. The arsenal of weapons feels satisfying to cycle through, each with a distinct kick that makes clearing levels a blast.

The dark atmosphere and creepy sound design really pull you in, and the weapon feedback feels satisfying even on the N64 controller. Runs smoothly with no noticeable slowdown during hectic firefights.
