RealSports Football - Atari 2600 Game

Snap throws are surprisingly accurate for an Atari 2600 game, and the running plays actually let you juke past defenders. It’s simple but keeps me coming back for one more drive.

The controls are simple enough to pick up quickly, but there's still a nice challenge in timing your passes and runs. It captures the feel of early football gaming perfectly.

I love how the Atari 2600 version actually captures the feel of a real football game—the simple controls let you jump right into the action without a complicated manual. The graphics are blocky but charming, exactly what I remember from classic sports simulations.
