River City Ransom - NES Game

I popped this cartridge into my NES and it loaded instantly with no glitches. The label is clean and the pins must have been polished well because it worked better than some of my old games. Definitely worth it for the nostalgia alone.

The cartridge loaded on the first try with no flickering, and the save feature actually works—a huge plus for a game this old. I spent an hour just revisiting the mall fights, exactly as I remembered.

The label’s a bit worn but the pins were spotless and it booted up first try on my top-loader. This one’s been on my list for years and it plays exactly like I remember from the arcade rental days. Glad I finally pulled the trigger.
