Rocksmith 2014 Game - Xbox 360 Game

Finally a music game that actually teaches you real guitar techniques instead of just button-mashing. The note detection feels incredibly accurate even with my cheap starter guitar plugged in.

The song library is solid for a music game, and the note detection feels accurate even without the original cable. My only gripe is the lack of a manual, but the gameplay itself is smooth.

I was a bit nervous buying this used, but it came in great shape and the disc works perfectly. The song selection in Rocksmith 2014 is fantastic for learning new techniques, and it's way more engaging than just practicing scales. Just remember you need a separate cable to connect your real guitar.
