The character roster is huge and includes all my favorites from the console versions, plus the weapon-based combat feels just as fluid on the PSP. Load times are surprisingly quick too.

I was skeptical about how well 3D fighting would work on a handheld, but the controls are surprisingly tight and responsive. The roster of iconic characters is huge, and I love being able to take these weapon-based battles on the go.

The weapon-based combat translates perfectly to the PSP—each strike feels weighty and responsive, making the 3D battles just as intense as on console. I’ve sunk hours into the portable grind, and the load times between fights are impressively short for a handheld.
