Pokemon Blue - ゲームボーイゲーム

It loaded right up on the first try, no issues, and I was so happy to see the familiar Pallet Town start screen with the old-school graphics. The cartridge itself looks well-preserved for its age too, which is always a gamble buying used.

The cartridge arrived clean and works perfectly in my Game Boy, no glitches or save issues at all. It’s awesome finally playing through the Kanto region and catching Pokémon as Ash, just like the show.

I was a bit worried about buying a loose cartridge, but the pins were spotless and it saved my progress on the first try. Definitely takes me back to hunting for a shiny Pikachu in Viridian Forest.
