NES Nintendo R.O.B. 機器人操作夥伴

My kids couldn't believe it when I hooked up R.O.B. to the NES and he actually moved to control the second player in Gyromite. The blinking red light on his face is such a nice touch, and it's wild that this little guy works like a real co-op partner.

Finally got one to complete my retro setup, and it actually works with the NES Zapper games that support two-player mode. The way R.O.B. moves his arms to match the on-screen commands is surprisingly smooth for something so old.

It's a blast having R.O.B. sitting next to my TV, and I was surprised how smoothly he tracks the light from the screen during the second-player games. The stacking arm motion is really satisfying to watch in action.
