Twisting the controller to steer instead of using a thumbstick takes a few laps to get used to, but once it clicks, the analog feel is incredibly smooth for Gran Turismo. The rubber grip on the wheel section still has good tackiness after all these years too.

The concave shape of the NegCon fits my palm perfectly, making long Ridge Racer sessions much more comfortable. It’s a totally different feel from a standard pad, and the analog twist really shines for precise steering.

The twist grip took me a minute to get used to, but once I did, it made cornering in Gran Turismo feel way more natural than the d-pad. The build feels solid for a two-decade-old controller, and the buttons still have that satisfying click. Glad I grabbed this for nostalgia.
